PFA Update for academic year 2017/ 2018
What a fantastic year we have had. The PFA got together in September 2017, the first one we have had in many many years. They organised so many great events, we have had after school discos and cinema club. They organised a fantastic Christmas bazaar as well as our very first Summer Fair held on one of the hottest days of the year! The PFA also sold ice pops after school which the children all loved in the hot weather. On Friday 6th July the PFA organised a fun day instead of a whole school trip. ZooLab came in the morning with lots of creep crawlies and all the children joined in. In the afternoon there was lots of bug themed craft that the children could take home as well as decorating a cookie, Take a look at our Gallery with photos of the day. The school year finished with WestFest, an outdoor ‘festival’ style end of term disco. We had a photo booth, dancing, face paining and games and each child had a Weston Shore ballon. The children all had a great time and a fantastic way to end the school year, again take a look at the photos.
The school would like to thank the PFA for funding the live streaming of the bird box and the fun day with ZooLab. A massive thank you to our PFA ladies who have done an amazing job this year, great organisation and ideas and we look forward to the next academ year of fundraising.
